Heat vs. Suns Play Of The Night: Terry Rozier Shakes Kevin Durant In The Mid-Range
The Miami Heat's frustration is growing following their seventh consecutive loss.
This time, it came at the hands of superstar Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns. Every player in the Heat's lineup faced challenges in the 119-104 defeat. However, there's no debate that guard Terry Rozier had his best display in Miami's lineup.
The play, which had social media buzzing, occurred within the first minute of the game. Rozier came off a screen from forward Jimmy Butler, leaving him in a one-on-one matchup with Durant. He took on the challenge, retreat dribbling before spinning towards the right side of the basket. He retracted the spin, sending Durant into the paint, leaving an open shot. He drained it, giving Miami their first points of the night.
Rozier concluded the evening with 21 points along with three assists on 8 of 14 shooting. When the Heat acquired Rozier, this is the level of play the front office was looking to see.
Meanwhile, Durant took full advantage of his 41 minutes of action. He finished with 20 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and two blocks on 53.3 percent shooting.
Miami's next opportunity to snap their list of defeats comes on Wednesday night against the Sacramento Kings.
