Heat vs. Thunder Injury Report: Kyle Lowry, Caleb Martin Doubtful

The injury report for Wednesday's contest between the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder
In this story:

The Miami Heat are entering Wednesday’s slate of games with a challenge at hand because they are facing off against the No. 2 seed Oklahoma City Thunder.

Miami returned home on Monday evening, where they took down Fred VanVleet and the Houston Rockets. Meanwhile, the Thunder have lost two of their last three matchups but are looking to get back on track following their win over the Washington Wizards.

Here’s the injury report:

HEAT

Jimmy Butler: Out - Right Toe MP Joint Sprain

Kyle Lowry: Doubtful - Left Hand Sprain

Caleb Martin: Doubtful - Right Ankle Sprain

Dru Smith: Out - Right Knee Surgery

Cole Swider: Out - G League - Two-Way

THUNDER

Davis Bertans: Questionable - Illness

Ousmane Dieng: Out - G League - On Assignment

Keyontae Johnson: Out - G League - Two-Way

Lowry is the freshest addition to the report, following an injury sustained against the Rockets. This will leave Miami with a serious playmaking debt in the backcourt. Guard Josh Richardson will likely start in his place if he is ruled out.

Butler has missed their last four games due to a foot injury, but his readiness for the postseason remains the top priority. In his absence, stars Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro have kept them afloat in the Eastern Conference. Martin is also missing significant time as his name remains in trade rumors for Miami.
