How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted To Game 3 Win Against Milwaukee Bucks Saturday

The Miami Heat cruised past Milwaukee Bucks to take a crucial upset victory in Game 3.

To say the Miami Heat bounced back against the Milwaukee Bucks is an understatement. The Heat’s commanding victory now puts the Finals favorites in an uncomfortable position the rest of the series.

“This is the effort we need every game,” said user HeatCulture. “One of our best defensive performances. Jimmy could’ve had 40 if he didn’t go down but thank God he came back to the bench. Bday Duncan is the best shooter in the world and Lowry stepped up. I’m praying Dipo is fine and healthy.”

Jimmy Butler had his typical superstar playoff performance with 30 points, five rebounds and four assists. But the bench was the story of the game. They scored 59 points, largely because of the contributions from Kyle Lowry, Caleb Martin and Duncan Robinson.

Robinson and Lowry went off in the first half to pick up the slack after Jimmy Butler’s 17-point first quarter.

Butler temporarily exited the game in the third quarter with a back injury, and Bam Adebayo had to sit after getting into foul trouble early. The absence of Butler, Adebayo and Tyler Herro would usually cause concern but Miami held up with solid contributions from the supporting cast.

While fans celebrated, there were still many expressing concern for Victor Oladipo, who went down with an injury at the end of the game. Given Oladipo’s history, the devastation is beyond his status for the series, but what this could mean for him going forward.

The Heat are back in Miami for Game 4 Monday. Teams that win Game 3 after the series is tied at 1-1 win 73.3 percent of the time.
