How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted To Monday’s Win Against The Charlotte Hornets

The Miami Heat held on to victory against the Charlotte Hornets.

Miami Heat’s Duncan Robinson had his worst game of the season Friday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He made sure that didn’t happen again, as his 24-point night (5 of 9 shooting from 3-point range) led the Heat to victory over the Charlotte Hornets.

Even for the Hornets’ lackluster record, Miami struggled against them last season, so these games shouldn’t be taken lightly. It was a close game, but the Heat ultimately came out on top behind Robinson, Jimmy Butler and Caleb Martin.

Still, some fans didn’t appreciate the Heat in another tightly contested matchup.

But then, other fans were content to clinch another win without stars Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo. The second unit’s production tipped the game in Miami’s favor.

Kevin Love had 19 points on 50 percent shooting from the arc, while rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. continued to impress with an 18-point night. The Rookie of the Year conversations around Jaquez are becoming more serious, even for the gap between him and Victor Wembanyama and Chet Holgren. Some fans even argue he’d have a bigger night if it weren’t for his foul trouble.

Miami is eighth in the Eastern Conference, tied with the Cleveland Cavaliers and right behind the New York Knicks. They have the opportunity to improve their standings with another win streak.

The Heat play the Hornets (7-13) again Wednesday night.
