How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted To Monday’s Win Over The Sacramento Kings

The Miami Heat upset the Sacramento Kings in the absence of several star players.
In this story:

No Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro or Terry Rozier.

No problem for the Miami Heat, whose victory over the Sacramento Kings marked the eighth win in their last 10 games.

Bam Adebayo headlined Miami's victory with 28 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. His all-around game continues to show this season, illustrated by his near-triple double in the absence of his Big Three co-stars. Right behind Adebayo was Jaime Jaquez Jr., who added another stellar game to his rookie season with 26 points, five rebounds and three steals. Hopefully Jaquez Jr. can sustain the same high-level performances he had before his groin injury.

But it wasn't just Adebayo and Jaquez Jr. Monday night. Contributions from Caleb Martin, Kevin Love, Haywood Highsmith and new guard Delon Wright made the difference, combining for 63 points on 56 percent shooting from 3-point range. Their scoring made up for the absence of the Heat stars, as well as a lackluster four-point performance from Duncan Robinson. Love in particular got flowers from the Heat admin and fanbase amidst his 19-point game off the bench.

This win streak has revived the faith amongst Heat fans. Miami climbed back to the No. 6 spot in the Eastern Conference, playing like a playoff-caliber squad as the season enters its final stretch.

Like I said before, maybe the Heat just do better facing adversity. They play the Portland Trail Blazers (15-41) Tuesday night.
