How Miami Heat's Twitter Reacted To Sunday's Win Over The Detroit Pistons

A last-second buzzer beater gives the Miami Heat their second consecutive victory.

Normally, a 3-point victory over the Detroit Pistons wouldn't satisfy Miami Heat fans. However, the nature of this win had them ecstatic. Bam Adebayo hit a game-winning 3-point shot to beat Detroit in the waning seconds as a part of his 20-point performance.

It was Adebayo's third consecutive game with at least one 3-pointer. After years of saying he'd develop his shot from the arc, it seems like he might finally be incorporating that in his game now. Adebayo pretty much dominated Heat Twitter all afternoon.

The talk around Adebayo took away from Duncan Robinson's performance, as he neared his career-high with 30 points on 7 of 12 shooting 3-point range. Robinson broke another milestone, become the fastest player in league history to make 1,000 3-pointers.

How quickly the tables have turned. Just days after nearly declaring their season over, Heat fans are seemingly back on the playoff bandwagon.

"Bam Adebayo is and will always be the most important player for the Miami HEAT," one user said. "He is our captain for a reason. Duncan Robinson, fastest player to reach 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 and now 1,000 threes made. 11-0 when he scores 20+ points. Love this team."

The Heat play the Philadelphia 76ers (37-30) Monday night. They've struggled against teams above .500 so they need to establish themselves as a playoff contender by stacking more convincing wins.
