How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted to the Loss Against the Milwaukee Bucks Saturday Night
The Miami Heat went into their four-game road trip with optimism after winning three games in a row. They dropped three on the road, and head back home after a Saturday night loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Heat defeated the Bucks in their previous two games this season but didn’t have to face Khris Middleton or Giannis Antetokounmpo. The two combined for 59 points.
Jimmy Butler had 32 points but was scoreless in the fourth quarter. Fans called out Erik Spoelstra for benching him in the final period. Butler had fewer minutes in the fourth than Haywood Highsmith.
Bucks guards Pat Connaughton, Jrue Holiday, and Grayson Allen combined for 11 3-pointers, with the team finishing with 14 on the night. The Heat made just eight on 26 percent shooting from the arc. Gabe Vincent had consecutive 25-point performances against the Bucks but only had seven points Saturday night.
Kyrie Irving’s trade request from Brooklyn has many Heat fans begging to acquire him. Although the demand is high, the fanbase expressed their willingness to move anyone outside of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
Some fans are even starting to mock the idea of Heat Culture and the organization’s resistance to signing big-name players.
“It's okay though we don't need Kyrie,” the fan said. “Even if we lose and don't win a title, at least we have undrafted players who have culture and passion! That's better than winning a championship!”
The Heat face the Indiana Pacers Wednesday night.
