How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted to the Loss Against the Philadelphia 76ers Wednesday Night
The feeling of optimism after the win against the Philadelphia 76ers Monday night was short-lived for Miami Heat fans.
The Heat were blown out in the Sixers rematch Wednesday night, marking their fifth loss in the last six games. This loos came against a Sixers team without star player Joel Embiid. Miami has lost many games this season to teams missing key players.
One fan wrote, “Tyler Herro being unreliable, Bam Adebayo making rookies and 2nd stringers look like All-stars, Jimmy Butler having too much mileage, Kyle Lowry being an out of shape bum, Erik Spoelstra displaying poor coaching, management being stubborn with roster construction.”

The Heat’s starting backcourt of Tyler Herro and Gabe Vincent went 6 of 26 from the field and 1 of 12 from the 3-point line. Earlier in the season, Herro was praised for his high-scoring games and plays in big moments. Vincent was hailed as a suitable replacement when they went 10-5 without starter Kyle Lowry before the All-Star break.
That praise has deteriorated.

The criticism is growing for Herro’s performances against .500 teams. He shined against the Houston Rockets and Charlotte Hornets but struggled against the Sixers and Atlanta Hawks.

The losses keep the Heat from gaining on the Brooklyn Nets, who continue to crumble, in the conference standings. The Hawks are only 1.5 games back and the Washington Wizards are three behind.
The Heat play the New York Knicks (37-27) Friday night.
