How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted to the Win Against the Philadelphia 76ers Monday Night

The Heat finally got back in the win column.

After the Miami Heat’s loss to the Charlotte Hornets, Jimmy Butler said he was “tired of losing.”

On Monday, he and the Heat showed how badly they wanted to get back to winning. Butler led the way in win against the Philadelphia 76ers with 23 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists. Butler also had an acrobatic shot that ended up being the winner. Heat fans are back to declaring Butler an MVP-caliber player.

Most nights, Butler, Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro stand out as the main scorers. Against the Sixers, there were multiple players with solid production to get the collective win. Max Strus, Gabe Vincent and Victor Oladipo combined for 10 3-pointers on 21 attempts. The bench production and solid 3-point shooting need to continue for the Heat to climb out from their low rank in both those categories.

Newly-signed center Cody Zeller got some love from Heat Twitter for his rundown block on Joel Embiid. It has only been three games since Zeller arrived in Miami but he is already getting better reception than former center Dewayne Dedmon.

“Good final minutes from Jimmy and Bam,” one fan said. “Also that Cody Zeller block was massive. We would’ve been in OT if he didn’t get that.”

While Heat fans are content with seeing Dedmon in a Sixers jersey, many still dislike seeing P.J. Tucker in one. Tucker signed with Philadelphia in the offseason but is still missed in Miami.

The Heat play the Sixers again Wednesday.
