How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted To Thursday Loss Against Boston Celtics

The Miami Heat’s blowout loss to the Boston Celtics leaves fans with major concerns.
In this story:

The Miami Heat dropped to seventh place in the Eastern Conference after a devastating loss to the Boston Celtics Thursday night.

To be fair, they lost to arguably the best team in the league. However, Heat fans want to see progress, and a 33-point defeat to a conference rival at home is certainly not encouraging. Any blowout loss is frustrating to endure, but maybe there would be less irritation if Miami wasn’t in the midst of a five-game losing streak.

The Celtics flexed their All-Star caliber starting five, combining for 95 points on 16 of 32 shooting from 3-point range. Boston got whatever they wanted from the arc Thursday night, shooting 55 percent from that distance.

It’s only been two games but Terry Rozier hasn’t had the impact fans hoped. Their desire for immediate change in the backcourt has been stalled. Rozier went 3 of 10 for just seven points in 29 minutes.

This could just as easily be a Celtics Twitter reaction story due to the amount of Boston fans trash talking in the Heat's comment section. Miami did eliminate them in the conference finals last postseason, so the bitter emotions are still present.

Rookie sensation Jaime Jaquez Jr. has been out with a groin injury since Jan. 14. Coincidence that the Heat are 1-5 without him? Didn't think so.

Fans are searching for answers after their fifth consecutive defeat. The anticipated mid-season turnaround hasn't transpired. Hopefully, they can find something against the New York Knicks (28-17) Saturday.
