How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted To Win Over The Golden State Warriors

The Miami Heat get blowout victory over Golden State without several key players.
In this story:

The Miami Heat were without Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry and Caleb Martin Thursday night against the Golden State Warriors.

And yet, they cruised to a blowout victory, winning in Golden State for the first time since 2020.

Leading the way once again was guard Tyler Herro, who had 26 points on 55.5 percent shooting from the field. He is averaging 26.2 points since returning from injury, showing no signs of slowing down and adding more to his All-Star case.

He and rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. continue their impressive seasons, leaving Heat fans to once again mock Portland Trail Blazers general manager Joe Cronin. Fans were originally upset at Cronin for not considering Jaquez Jr. and Herro in a trade for Damian Lillard, but are now grateful considering how well they are performing in Miami.

Herro, Jaquez Jr. and Nikola Jovic combined for 54 points in the victory. Fans once again reminded Cronin what he missed out on by not entertaining Miami's trade package.

There was also some love for forward Jamal Cain, whose 18-point performance led the Heat in scoring behind Herro. His effort plays ultimately made the difference in Miami's victory.

Another win without Butler now has some changing the narrative about the Heat. Butler's individual superstar performances are now being reciprocated with team victories where everyone is pitching in.

The Heat play the Utah Jazz (13-19) Saturday night. The last time Miami played the Jazz to end the year, Tyler Herro hit a game-winning buzzer beater.
