Jaime Jaquez Jr. Details What Separates Miami Heat From Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks

Rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. recently explained the separating factors between the Miami Heat and other championship contenders

Miami Heat forward Jaime Jaquez Jr. has full confidence in his team as the NBA playoffs are on the horizon.

The Heat have won five straight games and nine of their last 11. Jaquez was in a minor slump following a groin injury but has returned to his former level of play. He recorded 26 points, five rebounds, and three steals in Monday's win against the Sacramento Kings.

Despite their placement as the No. 5 seed, Jaquez believes the Heat have all the tools to take down teams such as the Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, and New York Knicks.

"I mean, I think we're just really tight rope overall. Everyone here is about winning," Jaquez told Inside the Heat's Anthony Pasciolla. "Everyone here is willing to sacrifice whatever they need to sacrifice to win games, and you know, do whatever the team needs. Everyone just puts the team first."

Jaquez is one of the newest additions to the team as a rookie along with guards Terry Rozier and Delon Wright. He understands the symmetry in their roster, which few teams across the league have.

The Celtics added stars Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis this offseason while the Bucks acquired star Damian Lillard. The Knicks traded for former Toronto Raptors forward OG Anunoby at the deadline. Meanwhile, the Heat have made minor acquisitions compared to them.

The familiar faces on the Heat's roster give them an upper hand over championship contenders who are finding ways to get acclimated to their new stars.
