Jimmy Butler Appears In State Farm Commercial Alongside Iowa's Caitlin Clark

Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler and Iowa All-American Caitlin Clark have cameos in State Farm advertisement
In this story:

Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler and Iowa women's basketball superstar Caitlin Clark are now teammates.

At least they are in the latest State Farm commercial. The duo appear in an entertaining ad describing a new app to make insurance claims faster.

The ad begins with a couple assessing damage to their vehicle after an accident when they both say in unison, "Shoot!"

At that moment, Clark appears out of nowhere saying, "Ok, I'll shoot. I don't see any hoop."

The woman then clarifies that she meant to use "shoot" in a non-basketball context. Then Butler appears: "I'll shoot, where's the hoop?"

The man then whispers to his wife to stop saying the "S-word."

Clark and Butler then start singing the State Farm "Like A Good Neighbor" jingle. That prompts the insurance company's top pitchman, Jake, to show up.

The ad perhaps reaches its peak when Jake explains how easy it is to file an insurance claim on even an "old Pacer" car.

That leads to former Indiana Pacers guard Reggie Miller popping up.

"Did somebody say an old Pacer," Miller says.

Clark is the NCAA's most popular women's player. She is averaging 31 points, eight assists and 7.4 rebounds. Last year she led the Hawkeyes to the national title game, losing to LSU. The ending was marred by controversy after some took exception to LSU forward Angel Reese taunting Clark in the closing minutes of a blowout victory.
