News broke on Sunday afternoon that Miami Heat forwards Jimmy Butler and Nikola Jovic are suspended for one game due to their involvement in the altercations in Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Butler wasted no time creating comical responses to the suspension on social media. The latest instance is an Instagram post that shows Butler and Jovic's faces on a movie poster from the 1995 film 'Bad Boys'. He also posted multiple Instagram stories of songs that poked fun at the situation with Akon's 'Locked Up' and Kanye West's 'Jail'.

The 34-year-old star thrived before his ejection in Friday's matchup, tallying 23 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and three steals on 7 of 12 shooting. The Heat walked away victorious, 106-95, thanks to a strong final quarter from center Bam Adebayo.

Additionally, Heat big man Thomas Bryant and Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado have each been suspended three games without pay for leaving the bench area during an on-court altercation and fighting.

The incident began when Miami’s Kevin Love committed a foul on New Orleans’ Zion Williamson with 11:19 remaining in the fourth quarter. Following that foul, Butler and Pelicans forward Naji Marshall engaged in a physical altercation, and then Alvarado and Bryant began fighting. For their roles, Alvarado, Bryant, Butler, and Marshall were assessed technical fouls and ejected from the game.

The Heat are in danger of suffering a wide-margin defeat against the Sacramento Kings on Monday with multiple suspensions and injuries.
