Kevin Love and Bam Adebayo Throw Hilarious Shots at Each Other On Instagram

The two had a funny exchange on social media.

Veteran power forward Kevin Love has been on the Miami Heat for less than two days but already seems to be settled in with the team.

Love posted a photo of himself on Instagram in the Heat practice facility.

Heat center Bam Adebayo commented on the post, saying, “Better make some f****** shots.” Love responded with his own comment, “Better create some f****** space.”

This interaction matches the relationship between Max Strus and Jimmy Butler, who have comical interactions that may seem mean-spirited to the public eye.

Adebayo and Love could have been mocking the Heat fans and their demands from the players. Heat fans begged for a power forward who can share the floor with Adebayo. They have also pleaded for a better sharpshooter with their lackluster 3-point shooting. Hopefully, Love can satisfy the desires of the Heat fanbase and elevate this team to a playoff contender.

When Love first touched down in Miami, he expressed his excitement to be with the team. His lack of playing time with the Cleveland Cavaliers will be reciprocated with more time on the floor in Miami. With a bigger role, his stats will most likely improve, and his presence will allow Caleb Martin to return to his original position off the bench.

The Heat hope his addition can increase their competitive nature heading into the postseason. Miami is seventh in the Eastern Conference, which would give them the highest seed in the play-in tournament if the playoffs started today.

Seeing Adebayo and Love build early chemistry is a sign of optimism for the Heat going forward.
