The Miami Heat's three-game winning streak had a negative impact on their rating around the league.

The Heat dropped five spots in the latest NBA.com power rankings, which were released Monday. They fell from No. 10 to No. 15 after dropping losing games to the Toronto Raptors, Atlanta Hawks and Orlando Magic

The Heat lost two of the games by double-digits.

"Their loss to the Magic (who have the league’s fifth-ranked defense) on Sunday was the fifth time the Heat have scored less than a point per possession," wrote NBA.com's John Schumann. "Their three games this week are against defenses that currently rank 11th, second and seventh, and they’ll be at a rest disadvantage when they host the Celtics on Thursday."

The Heat now have four games against the Memphis Grizzlies, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks and Phoenix Suns. Injuries have played a role in the struggles because of chemistry issues. The Heat continue to deal with utilizing multiple lineups.

“Sometimes you're going to have rough patches, but as long as you're generating the right types of looks, you can't be obsessed with the results, even if it's frustrating,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. “You also have to give Orlando credit. They were very physical tonight and they kind of blew up a lot of our movement.”
