The seven-game losing streak last month now seems like a distant memory for the Miami Heat.

Now, they can relax a bit with the NBA All-Star break here.

The Heat closed strong with two wins, completing it with Wednesday's 109-104 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers. Center Bam Adebayo led the way with 23 points and 14 rebounds.

"We needed these two wins," Adebayo said. "That's the nature of the game. Guys start to lose focus on the main thing. Everybody is looking forward to All-Star break but we kept the main thing. We got the two (wins). Now, it's time to enjoy the All-Star weekend."

The Heat have won six of eight, the only losses coming to the Los Angeles Clippers and Boston Celtics. The Celtics have the league's best record while the Clippers are No. 3 in the Western Conference. The Heat are No. 7 in the East but only three games back of the No. 4 New York Knicks

"It feels good," said guard Tyler Herro, who had 23 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. "You want to manage the highs and lows of the season but they come regardless. I think we weathered it well. There's no better way to go into a break than how we are now."
