Miami Heat rookie Jaime Jaquez revealed the jersey number he will wear this season.

He was tabbed with the No. 11. He wore No. 24 during his senior year at UCLA.

Here's a closer look at Jaquez:

Height: 6-foot-6

Weight: 225

Position: Guard/Small forward

Hometown: Camarillo, Calif.

Stats: Averaged 17.2 points, 8.2 rebounds on 48 percent shooting.

Accolades: Pac-10 Player of the Year, Second-team All-American

The skinny: At 22, Jaquez spent four seasons in college. His experiences makes him a player who the Heat feel can contribute immediately. According to NBA TV's Andy Katz, he is the "perfect player" for the Heat organization. Jaquez is also an exceptional defender.

Weakness: He could struggle with athleticism at the next level, especially playing on the wing because that's what most general managers look for. It seems he is better suited to play in the backcourt, giving the Heat another option to Duncan Robinson.

Grade: B-plus. Many fans are going to wonder why the Heat chose Jaquez when Villanova forward Cam Whitmore was still on the board. Still the Heat can't wrong with Jaquez.
