When he was drafted Thursday, Miami Heat rookie Jaime Jaquez offered his praise for Jimmy Butler.

A day later, it was time for him to show some love center Bam Adedayo. Jaquez gushed over his new teammate Friday, showing the excitement of playing alongside Adebayo.

"I love Bam," Jaquez said. "He plays so hard, rebounds, defends, blocks shots, everything you need from a guy like that. I'm very excited to be able to play on the floor with him. I think we're going to play very well together."

Jaquez, who played at UCLA, said should receive plenty opportunity this season. He spent four years in college, so most analysts think he's already NBA ready. Another plus is he says he is comfortable playing both forward spots, but likely starts out at the three.

Jaquez has the chance to join Adebayo and guard Tyler Herro among the few first-rounders in the past 10 years to have impacts.
