Miami Heat To Face Boston Celtics In Eastern Conference Finals For Second Straight Season

The Boston Celtics defeated Philadelphia 76ers in Game 7 of conference semifinals and advance to play the Miami Heat

The Miami Heat and Boston Celtics competed in one of the most epic Eastern Conference finals in NBA history a year ago.

Now, they get to do it again for the third time in the last four years.

The Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 112-88 Sunday in Game 7 of their series, advancing to face the awaiting Heat.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 51 points, 13 rebounds and five assists. Last year the Celtics defeated the Heat in seven games. It came down to Heat forward Jimmy Butler missing a late 3-pointer in the closing seconds.

The Celtics eventually lost to the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. This time, the Heat are the underdog as the No. 8 seed against the second-seeded Celtics.

Game 1 is Wednesday in Boston.
