Miami Heat's Bam Adebayo Answering Phone Call From Mom During Press Conference Is Perfect Mother's Day Moment

Bam Adebayo played a huge role in the Miami Heat's Game 6 victory against New York Knicks
In this story:

Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo had the perfect moment for Mother's Day weekend.

After the Heat eliminated the New York Knicks Friday in Game 6, Adebayo was speaking to reporters at the interview podium. He was asked a question about Knicks guard Jalen Brunson when he was interrupted by his phone ringing.

"I have a lot of respect for Jalen and it's not just," Adebayo said before looking down at his phone.

He then picked up because it was his mother, Marilyn Blount.

"Hi mommy," Adebayo said. "I'm in media."

The two spoke for about 20 seconds before Adebayo returned to his interview. It's no secret Adebayo has a strong relationship with his mother. The two lived together during his first couple seasons in the NBA.
