For the first time in his NBA career, Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo made two three-pointers in a game.

His night kicked off with a nine-point opening quarter, where he nailed the first three-pointer. Meanwhile, his single-game record shot came in the third quarter. Adebayo finished the evening with 20 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists on 80 percent shooting. In the midst of a dominant night, the three-time All-Star attempted zero shots in the final quarter.

Adebayo's streak of three-pointers is highlighted by the buzzer-beater against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday. The shot came as guard Terry Rozier dished the ball out to him at the top of the key. It's safe to say Rozier was shocked by Adebayo's confidence in his ability from the arc.

Following a rough stretch coming out of the All-Star break, the Heat big man is back in his groove. He has recorded more than 19 points and eight rebounds in their last three matchups. Performing at this level in the absence of stars Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro is nothing short of needed. Without his performances, the Heat may have dropped at least one of their games against the Pistons.

The Heat return to action on Wednesday night against Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers (43-25).
