Miami Heat's Erik Spoelstra On Game 7 In Boston: "We're Gonna Go Up There And Get It Done"
The Miami Heat are already showing optimism for their most important game of the season.
They have already brushed off Saturday's Game 6 loss to the Boston Celtics and ready prepare for the next challenge. Star Jimmy Butler made it clear he wasn’t sweating the loss.
In fact, he was ready to go home and clear his mind.
“"I'm gonna smile, I'm go home and play some Spades,” said Butler, who averaged just 19 points in Games 5 and 6. “I don't care what nobody say. Everything going to be okay."
A nonchalant statement as such in these circumstances would upset most coaches. Not Heat coach Erik Spoelstra.
He went full Butler, assuring a victory Monday in Game 7.
“I don’t know how we’re gonna get this done,” Spoelstra said. “But we’re gonna go up there and get it done.”
The Heat had this confidence all season. After defying the odds by making the Eastern Conference Finals, their confident is warranted.
It won't be easy because TD Garden is one of the most hostile arenas in the NBA.
