Miami Heat's Max Strus Says Erik Spoelstra Also Questioned Timeout Management By Bucks Coach Mike Budenholzer

The Miami Heat were surprised by the Milwaukee Bucks usage of their timeouts in Game 5

Many NBA fans wondered why Milwaukee Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer refused to call a timeout on two occasions in Wednesday's Game 5 loss to the Miami Heat.

When Heat forward Jimmy Butler tied the game on a layup, the Bucks still had opportunity for a timeout with 0.5 seconds remaining to perhaps set up another score at halfcourt.  The Bucks never did it, allowing the game to go into overtime.

Heat guard Max Strus revealed the reaction of the team huddle during the break from regulation to overtime on an appearance on the Dan LeBatard Show. Strus even said Spoelstra was curious why a timeout was never called.

"Honestly, we were all questioning it," Strus said ."At the end of [regulation], Spo came in the huddle, he was like, 'They didn't call a timeout! What are we doing? They didn't call a timeout!' And we were like, we didn't even know they had a timeout. We just figured they didn't, the guys on the court. But yeah, we were kind of questioning what was going on. But thankfully they didn't use it."
