The Miami Heat's signing of Terry Rozier was met with great fanfare in late January.

It has since somewhat fizzled because of Rozier's early struggles in a new uniform. He's taken some criticism from some fans but he's completely fine with it.

Because Rozier is the first to admit he could play better. No one is tougher on his play than himself.

"I can't hit a jumpshot," Rozier said after going 7 of 17 from the field in Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Clippers . "I don't try to get too much into myself. I'm a team player. You look at the end, you worry about wins and losses. I'm not happy that we got the L. I'm my toughest critic. You've got to keep putting the work in. It's going to fall for me."

Rozier is shooting just 32 percent in the seven games since his arrival in Miami. He's a career 42 percent shooter, so he is searching for answers. Sunday was actually was one of his better games in a Heat uniform because he's only shot higher than 50 percent once (against Phoenix Jan. 29).

"Part of it, you've just got to keep shooting," Rozier said.

The other part is Rozier is still adjusting to the new surroundings. The Heat eventually hope to figure it out before it gets too late.

"It definitely takes a minute for guys to get acclimated," Heat forward Kevin Love said. "... It definitely takes tome to get acclimated, especially on the offensive end. The good news is we have some time."
