Miami Heat's Tyler Herro Working Out With Trainer Drew Hanlen In Los Angeles

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro is going about business despite an offseason full of speculation.

Herro is spending some time in Los Angles this week working out with popular trainer Drew Hanlen, who founded the company Pure Sweat Basketball. Among his clients are Bradley Beal (Phoenix Suns), Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers) and Zach LaVine (Chicago Bulls). He's also working this week with 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey.

Herro is focused on improving for next season in wake of being involved in trade rumors the past two months. He is the key bargaining chip in the Heat's pursuit of Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard.

"student of the game, I come from a long line," Herro posted on his Instagram.

The Heat were linked with Lillard once he requested a trade to Miami on July 1 at the beginning of free agency. Herro became the ideal bait once they made the NBA Finals without him. He was sidelined the postseason after breaking his hand against the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1 of the first round.
