Miami Heat's Victor Oladipo Opts Into Final Year Of Contract
Miami Heat guard Victor Oladipo opted into the final year of his contract late Tuesday night.
Oladipo will make $9.5 million in the last season of a two-year contract. He is expected to miss most of next season after sustaining a knee injury in April.
He averaged 10.7 points, 3.5 assists and 1.3 steals in 42 appearances last season. He was once an All-Star before injuries derailed a promising career.
MILWAUKEE BUCKS INTERESTED IN LOVE?
Even though Heat president Pat Riley has a firm stance on keeping his team together, he may have to answer to recent free agency rumors.
According to HoopsWire, the Milwaukee Bucks have shown interest in power forward Kevin Love.
After playing 41 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers this year, he finished the season with the Heat. When he arrived, fans in South Beach were ecstatic due to his success with the Cavaliers. But he only averaged seven points, mainly due to the bench role he had to settle for.
