NBA Twitter Reacts To Victor Wembanyama's Dunk On Miami Heat's Thomas Bryant

Victor Wembanyama's big night against the Miami Heat featured a poster dunk on center Thomas Bryant.

The Miami Heat lost to the San Antonio Spurs Friday night in their second preseason game.

The biggest story was the performance by Spurs' top draft pick Victor Wembanyama, who finished with 23 points, four rebounds and three blocks. Social media praised Wembanyama, especially his dunk on Heat center Thomas Bryant.

This illustrated the true size advantage Wembanyama has on his opponents. Bryant is 6'10" but still looked small against the 7'4" power forward. Bryant is one of many who will be on Wembanyama's highlight reel this season. He couldn't do anything but express disbelief.

NBA fans love what they see from the hyped draft prospect, even if it is just the preseason.

Bryant struggled against San Antonio, recording just four points and five rebounds with three turnovers. He and guard Cole Swider couldn't produce the same success they had against the Charlotte Hornets Tuesday night.

The Heat's 16-point loss shouldn't cause much concern though, as the team was resting Caleb Martin, Jaime Jacquez Jr. and Josh Richardson. Heat stars Tyler Herro, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo didn't see the court either, and will likely sit out the rest of the preseason. Miami needs their core ready if they want to acquire a fourth franchise championship.

The Heat play the Memphis Grizzlies (2-1) tomorrow night.
