Orlando Robinson Could Become Miami Heat's Next Developmental Star After Strong Summer League

Miami Heat center Orlando Robinson had breakout performance during Summer League in Las Vegas

Miami Heat center Orlando Robinson showed he is ready to become their next G League-to-rotation player sensation.

He was arguably the most impressive Heat player during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. They played their final game Sunday, defeating the Portland Trail Blazers 104-78.

Robinson finished with 27 points, nine rebounds, six assists and three steals while shooting 10 of 15 from the field.

Robinson averaged 29.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists on 57 percent shooting in Vegas. The Heat signed him to a multi-year deal at the beginning of the month, proving they are invested. Now, it's up to Robinson to show he's worth it.

The Heat had much success in these developmental situations, including Duncan Robinson, Gabe Vincent, Haywood Highsmith and Max Strus. All used the opportunity to land major paydays.

The hope is Robinson becomes the next.
