The Miami Heat are in the market for an additional frountcourt piece ahead of the Feb. 8 trade deadline.

Among the options are Brooklyn Nets center Nic Claxton as well as former Heat forward P.J. Tucker. He has appeared in 15 games this season with the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Clippers.

On Saturday, the veteran posted a picture to his Instagram story of the exit to Miami Beach with the caption "Home Sweet Home." Tucker's frustrations with his role on the Clippers are leading some to believe a reunion in Miami is soon to come.

“I feel like I still got a lot to contribute to a team to be able to win, whether that's here or somewhere else,” Tucker told ClutchPoints in an exclusive interview in December. “I know myself, my worth. I know what I bring. I know what I've brought. I know what I can continue to bring. And with that, I want to be able to go to a good team that I can be able to help that.”

Tucker played 71 games for the Heat during the 2022 season, where he averaged 7.6 points and 5.5 rebounds on 48.4 percent shooting. The 38-year-old was a member of the Milwaukee Bucks when they won the 2021 NBA Championship, proving his ability to impact contending teams.
