Time For Miami Heat's Gabe Vincent To Replace Kyle Lowry In Starting Lineup?

Vincent has thrived in Lowry's absence all season
In this story:

Miami Heat guard Gabe Vincent is a lot like teammate Jimmy Butler.

Both care little about individual accolades, preferring to focus on winning.

"I love to win, so whatever my team needs me to do for us to win, I'm gonna do the best in my ability to accomplish that task," Vincent said.

Vincent has helped the Heat to wins while also putting up numbers that could elevate him above Kyle Lowry in the starting lineup. Vincent started in place of the injured Lowry the last four games, with the Heat going 3-1.

"It's big for him to run the offense the way that he does," Butler said. "He's asked to guard a really good offensive player on the other end. Then you never know when his shot is going to come. You've always got to be ready to step into it and knock it down, stay aggressive, get the ball to everybody but that's what a true point guard does."

Vincent has averaged 14 points, three rebounds and 2.5 assists.

"Gabe has been one of the most professional guys this year," center Bam Adebayo said. "He's been in so many different roles, so many different lineups."
