TNT Analyst Reggie Miller Used Dwyane Wade's Toughness To Criticize Kawhi Leonard
Los Angeles Clippers All-Star Kawhi Leonard's injury history is starting to draw criticism.
The latest was from TNT analyst Reggie Miller. In an appearance on the Dan Patrick radio show, Miller used Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade to criticize Leonard.
Leonard missed Game 3 of their series against Phoenix Suns because of knee issues, resulting in a Clippers loss and a 2-1 deficit.
“At times, no one is 100 percent this time of the year," Miller told Patrick. "You’ve got to be able to play through it (injuries). You’ve got to be mentally strong to play through it all.”
The clip starts at the 13:25 mark:
Miller then cited Wade as an example of those who played through injuries.
“Dwyane Wade played through injuries," Miller said. "They made a commercial about that: ‘Fall down six times, get up seven’. They made commercials about that.”
Miller finished his Leonard bashing by saying Wade was the better because he has more championships.
