Watch Heat vs. Hornets Play Of The Night: Kyle Lowry Delivers Half Court Pass To Jimmy Butler

Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry sent a half-court pass to Jimmy Butler, setting up an uncontested finish

The Miami Heat's win over the Charlotte Hornets wasn't convincing, but it did provide multiple exciting moments.

Star forward Jimmy Butler was on the same page as his teammates all night. Butler connected with veteran guard Kyle Lowry late in the opening quarter.

Lowry grabbed an outlet pass from big man Kevin Love. After a few dribbles, Lowry sent a high-flying pass to Butler from beyond half court. Butler caught the accurate lob, finishing with an uncontested mid-air layup.

This play extended Miami's lead to eight points. However, this advantage dwindled throughout the game, which resulted in their two-point victory.

Butler concluded the matchup with 23 points, eight assists, and four rebounds on 7 of 12 shooting.

On the other hand, Lowry had one of his most disappointing scoring games of the season. He recorded three points on 16.7 percent shooting in 35 minutes of action. It's important to note the veteran performed well outside of scoring with five rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

Butler also connected with rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. on multiple occasions, who had a fulfilling night himself. He scored 18 points on solid efficiency.

Miami is hoping to jumpstart a winning streak on Wednesday in their second consecutive game with Charlotte.
