Watch Heat vs. Nets Play Of The Night: Bam Adebayo Hammers Home High-Flying Lob Pass

Watch Miami Heat big man Bam Adebayo deliver the play of the night early in the second quarter
In this story:

It was an evening filled with frustration for the Miami Heat as they fended off the Brooklyn Nets, 96-95.

Amidst the stress-filled outing, two-time All-Star center Bam Adebayo delivered a jaw-dropping offensive play.

Adebayo stood at the top of the three-point line, where he handed the ball off to guard Duncan Robinson. Adebayo began rolling towards the paint, while Robinson dribbled around the arc. He took a step in before throwing a one-handed lob to Adebayo at the rim. The pass sailed high above the rim, but the Miami big man extended his right arm, throwing it down. The possession shrunk Miami's deficit to eight points early in the second quarter.

Adebayo tallied 11 points, 20 rebounds, and four assists on 5 of 17 shooting. The performance allows him to prolong his double-double streak to six games despite the poor shooting. Star forward Jimmy Butler scored 31 points in a game filled with offensive struggles for the 26-year-old center.

Meanwhile, Robinson recorded zero points, two rebounds, and two assists on 0 of 4 shooting. His contributions could have led to an easier win in the absence of forward Kevin Love.

The Heat will search for a fulfilling victory on Wednesday against Pascal Siakam and the Toronto Raptors (15-24).
