The Miami Heat put on an entertaining display in their loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday evening.

They recorded 120 points in the defeat, but Thunder stars Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren combined for 51 points on 21 of 32 shooting. Star center Bam Adebayo put on a showcase of his own, highlighted by a dominant play in the second quarter.

Adebayo dropped the ball off to guard Josh Richardson at the three-point line. He headed towards the paint as Richardson swung the ball to forward Kevin Love. The veteran forward wasted no time dumping the ball off to Adebayo. The big man exploded to the rim with a single step, delivering a two-handed dunk with multiple defenders in close pursuit.

Adebayo had an impressive outing despite the eight-point loss. He tallied 25 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists on 56.3 percent shooting. Not to mention, he went 7 of 7 from the free throw line. His efforts weren't enough, largely because of their struggles on the defensive end.

Richardson and Love provided solid contributions off the bench with 12 and eight points, respectively.

The Heat will seek redemption on Friday night against Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic at the Kaseya Center.
