It was a convincing victory for the Miami Heat on Thursday, taking down the Golden State Warriors.

Big man Bam Adebayo didn't have the most eye-catching statline but contributed well across the board. Outside of the box score, his top moment took place on a possession where he was assisted by guard R.J. Hampton.

Hampton penetrated the defense following a left-side screen from Adebayo. The screen attracted a delayed double-team, leaving Adebayo free to cut through the paint. Hampton threw up a high lob over two defenders, which Adebayo barely got his hand on. However, the tip bounced off the top of the backboard, falling in. This play increased Miami's lead to five points early in the third quarter.

Adebayo finished the game with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists on 53.8 percent shooting. He cleaned up his playmaking, recording zero turnovers after struggling to take care of the ball in recent matchups.

Hampton was given an increased opportunity due to the absence of veteran guard Kyle Lowry. He scored seven points, along with three assists and two rebounds, in 24 minutes on the floor. Although he is not worthy of the starting job, Hampton proved his capability of filling in for injured players.

The Heat are looking to prolong their winning streak on Saturday against Lauri Markkanen and the Utah Jazz.
