What would the Miami Heat offer look like if Stephen Curry asked for a trade?

The Golden State Warriors' run looks to be on the ropes, but would the Heat pursue Curry if he ever became available?

After last night's loss, the Golden State Warriors fell to 11th place in the Western Conference standings.

Draymond is still out suspended. Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins look like shells of themselves and are on a decline.

That made me wonder if the Warriors will finally accept their fate and pull the plug.

The answer is likely no. The Warriors will probably keep Steph Curry until the wheels fall completely off. He retires a Warrior, the end. But what if they did entertain offers for Curry?

What would a realistic offer from the Miami Heat look like?

You would want to keep Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, as that trio instantly makes you a championship favorite.

Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, and Josh Richardson for Curry works financially, but that seems way too easy. They won't even get the phone answered.

Throw in Jaime Jaquez Jr and Nikola Jovic, and now things get interesting. The Heat depth and youth will be gone. You will have to replenish the roster with old vets in the buyout market. Is it worth it?

The problem is it would be a hard sell to fans to give up Jaquez for two or three more years of Curry. Pulling off a championship on short notice in year one would be almost impossible. Then, Curry will be 36 years old in March, so it would instantly put you in ring or bust-mode.

Ultimately, I don't think the Heat would even entertain it unless it were a "fleecing" trade, and you could keep much of the roster intact.

The idea of Curry in South Beach is fun to think about, though.
