Projected No. 1 overall pick Victor Wembanyama will not participate in next week's NBA Combine, according to multiple reports. This doesn't come as much of a surprise considering Wembanyama has been the clear top prospect since last summer, and potentially longer.

In 31 games with the Metropolitans 92 of the LNB Pro A, the highest-tier level in French basketball, Wembanyama averaged 21.6 points, 10.1 rebounds, 3.1 blocks, and 2.4 assists per game.

The 7-foot-2, 230-pound forward still has some growing to do believe it or not. Much like this year's No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft, Bryce Young, the only concern regarding Wembanyama is his slender frame. However, many believe he will see a major transformation as he gets into an NBA weight training/nutrition program, similar to Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Charlotte Hornets currently hold the fourth-best odds in the NBA Draft Lottery to win the No. 1 overall pick. The lottery is set to take place next Tuesday, May 16th, at 8:30 pm. EST on ESPN.
