Game Preview

The Hornets (18-55) look to get back on track on Sunday as they host the Los Angeles Clippers (46-27). Charlotte has dropped six of their last seven games coming into the matchup, while Los Angeles enters on a two-game winning streak.

With the playoffs far out of reach and key players like LaMelo Ball and Mark Williams not due back this season, the Hornets find themselves in a position of evaluating the talent on the roster as they get ready to head back to the drawing board this offseason.

The Clippers are having yet another strong season behind the power of star duo Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. With just nine games remaining in their regular season, the club finds itself in the pole position for a heated race for the fourth seed in the Western Conference playoffs.

Key Matchup: Brandon Millers vs Paul George

Miller has previously stated that Paul George is his a player he has not only looked up to for a long time, but also molded his game after. The rookie second overall pick has flashed a lot of qualities reminiscent of a young George this season, and now he’ll have a chance to show his idol what he’s learned.
