Score Predictions for Hornets at Nets

Our staff picks tonight's game between Charlotte and Brooklyn.
In this story:

Schuyler Callihan: Nets 115, Hornets 108.

I actually see this as a winnable game for the Hornets, but I think they ultimately fall short. Brooklyn is one of the best three-point shooting teams in the league and Charlotte is one of the worst teams in the NBA defending the three-ball. Sometimes it's as simple as that.

Prediction record: 6-4.

Will Eudy: Nets 114, Hornets 102.

Going against another good defensive team, the Hornets will likely have a difficult matchup. Playing without LaMelo Ball and Nick Richards, and with Brandon Miller now questionable, it will take a monster effort out of what’s left of the Hornets’ roster to pull out a victory.

Prediction record: 8-4.

Desmond Johnson: Hornets 108, Nets 103.

I actually like this matchup for the Hornets for some reason. The Hornets backcourt is really banged up and the PG position is woefully thin without LaMelo on the floor. Nets will be without Ben Simmons, Cam Thomas and Dennis Smith Jr. Look for a big night from the Hornets wings, Miller and Bridges. Hornets hang on to win.

Prediction record:  3-6.
