Score Predictions for Hornets vs. Grizzlies

Our staff picks tonight's game between Charlotte and Memphis.
In this story:

Ian Black: Hornets 106, Grizzlies 103.

This is perhaps the most winnable matchup Charlotte has season all season on paper. With that said, it’s still the second night of a back-to-back for the Hornets, where as Memphis is a bit more rested, if a bit more injured. Funnel the defense towards Jaren Jackson Jr., and this losing streak may not hit double-digits.

Prediction record: 9-1.

Atticus Ferguson: Hornets 114, Grizzlies 109.

There’s a ton going on at the hive tonight with the Hornets honoring Gerald Wallace while simultaneously welcoming in five new players who make their debut in the purple & teal. Coming off of a shorthanded drubbing, welcoming in the new additions who will be looking to make a statement in front of their new home crowd, and having a beatable opponent in Memphis creates the perfect storm for the Hornets to snap their losing streak. I’m expecting some juice in the Spectrum Center on a Saturday night to help carry the team to a much needed win.

Prediction record: 19-4.
