Score Predictions for Hornets vs. Wizards

Our staff picks tonight's game between Charlotte and Washington.
In this story:

Schuyler Callihan: Hornets 125, Wizards 118

The Hornets have played well in their last two games and even without Terry Rozier, they fought hard against Dallas. The Wizards may be the worst team in the NBA this year. This is a must-win game for Charlotte.

Prediction record: 2-2.

Will Eudy: Hornets 131, Wizards 111

With two games in a row against the worst team record-wise in the Eastern Conference, the Hornets have a major opportunity to get some wins under their belt. Washington owns the worst defensive rating in the league, and the Hornets’ offense should be able to generate enough points to put the Wizards away early in this one.

Prediction record: 1-1.

Desmond Johnson: Hornets 120, Wizards 111

The Hornets are a young team that will experience good and bad streaks this season as they gain experience. The Wizards are just awful. I have faith that the Hornets can beat a Jordan Poole-led squad. Another big night from LaMelo as he gets his groove back.

Prediction record: 1-3.

James Plowright: Hornets 128, Wizards 114

The Wizards have given up at least 125 points in every loss so far this season. Even with missing leading scorer Terry Rozier, the Hornets should have enough firepower to score on a struggling Wizards team. Charlotte know these back to back games against the Wizards are pivotal. The schedule gets tougher from here on out, if the Hornets can’t beat lottery teams like Washington they have little hope of being relevant this season.

Prediction record: 3-1.
