Schuyler Callihan: Mavericks 104, Hornets 96.

The Mavericks should have no problems tonight with the Hornets, in theory. However, it is the final time the guys in purple and teal will play at Spectrum Center this season. This group wants to finish the home portion of the schedule strong and put up a good fight against a top-tier team in the NBA. Charlotte fights and makes it ugly, but the Mavs pull away in the final minutes.

Predictions record: 25-11.

James Plowright: Mavericks 119, Hornets 105.

Dallas is red hot, with both Doncic and Irving peaking at the right time. Former Hornet PJ Washington has also shot the ball better as of late, this will be his first game in Charlotte as a member of the Mavericks. The Hornets appear to be just about done with this regular season, if they can keep it close that's an achievement.

Prediction record: 29-11.

Pat Fitzsimmons: Mavericks 112, Hornets 99.

I don’t see how the Hornets with all of their injuries will be able to compete with a hot Mavericks team at almost full strength who are playing for playoff position. Seeing how Grant Williams and PJ Washington play comparatively for the ultimate “who won the trade” point in the discord will be interesting to follow. Cliff’s last game as Head Coach at the Hive I predict will end in a double digit loss.

Prediction record: 7-3.
