Spread & Over/Under Predictions for Hornets at 76ers

Can the Hornets cover the spread?
In this story:

Each game day, we at All Hornets will release an article on our thoughts on the spread and the over/under of Charlotte Hornets games. The star ratings next to the play describe the overall confidence in that particular play.

Star ratings:

1 Star - Not very confident

2 Star - A little confident

3 Star - Fairly confident

4 Star - Very confident

5 Star - Should be a lock to happen

Spread: 76ers -10.5

2 Star play on the Hornets (+10.5): There's no chance in you know what that I'm laying double digits with the Sixers right now. I understand the Hornets have had a rough year but Philly's offense been out of whack for nearly a month and has no signs of returning to form anytime soon. As crazy as it may sound, I actually think this is a winnable game for the Hornets. If they shoot it a little better than they did last night, they've got a chance. But 10.5? Not a chance, pal. Take the points.

Over/Under: 209.5

2 Star play on the under: Alright, so in two of the last three games the 76ers failed to reach 80 points. In three of their last four, they've failed to hit the century mark. If you be the over in this one, you might be crazy. Not saying it can't happen but given the info we have at our disposal, the under is the only way to play the total. With another under last night, that makes 12 of the last 15 Hornets games staying under the number.

My picks this season

ATS: 22-23 (49%)

O/U: 23-22 (51%)

Overall: 45-45 (50%)
