Spread & Over/Under Predictions for Hornets at Grizzlies

Can the Hornets cover the spread?
In this story:

Each game day, we at All Hornets will release an article on our thoughts on the spread and the over/under of Charlotte Hornets games. The star ratings next to the play describe the overall confidence in that particular play.

Star ratings:

1 Star - Not very confident

2 Star - A little confident

3 Star - Fairly confident

4 Star - Very confident

5 Star - Should be a lock to happen

Spread: Hornets -1.5

1 Star play on the Hornets (-1.5): I could see this one going either way. Both of these teams are a bit banged up and haven't had much success this season. With the uncertainty of Jaren Jackson Jr. for this one, I'll lean to the Hornets. Even if he plays, I'd still take Charlotte's side. Brandon Miller and Miles Bridges should be able to score enough to get the bugs back in the win column.

Over/Under: 204.5

2 Star play on the under: An extremely low total, but who would bet an over in the NBA right now? Almost every game is going under now for some reason and at a pace never seen before in the modern day NBA. This game will be played in the 90s and I wouldn't be all that surprised to see the winner fail to hit the century mark. The under has cashed in 11 of the last 13 Hornets games and in four of the last six for the Grizzlies.

My picks this season

ATS: 20-23 (47%)

O/U: 22-21 (51%)

Overall: 42-44 (48%)
