Spread & Over/Under Predictions for Hornets at Timberwolves

Can the Hornets cover the spread?
In this story:

Each game day, we at All Hornets will release an article on our thoughts on the spread and the over/under of Charlotte Hornets games. The star ratings next to the play describe the overall confidence in that particular play.

Star ratings:

1 Star - Not very confident

2 Star - A little confident

3 Star - Fairly confident

4 Star - Very confident

5 Star - Should be a lock to happen

Spread: Timberwolves -14.5

2 Star play on the Timberwolves (-14.5): Too many questions surrounding the Hornets' health in this one for me to back them. If LaMelo Ball and Nick Richards are ruled out, this should be an easy cover for Minnesota. Charlotte has failed to cross the 100-point mark in six of its last ten meetings. The T-Wolves have a clear advantage in the paint and I expect that to be where this game is dominated.

Over/Under: 220.5

3 Star play on the under: Seven of the last ten for Charlotte have stayed under the total while three of the last five have done the same for Minnesota. Unless the Hornets miraculously figure things out on the other end, particularly from three, it's going to be a tall task to get over the number.

My picks this season

ATS: 12-16 (44%)

O/U: 14-14 (52%)

Overall: 26-30 (48%)
