Spread & Over/Under Predictions for Hornets vs. Bucks

Can the Hornets cover the spread?
In this story:

Each game day, we at All Hornets will release an article on our thoughts on the spread and the over/under of Charlotte Hornets games. The star ratings next to the play describe the overall confidence in that particular play.

Star ratings:

1 Star - Not very confident

2 Star - A little confident

3 Star - Fairly confident

4 Star - Very confident

5 Star - Should be a lock to happen

Spread: Bucks -7.5

1 Star play on the Bucks (-7.5): I don't have full confidence in this play due to the unknown status of Giannis Antetokounmpo who is questionable with a calf injury. However, the Hornets are uncertain about Brandon Miller (ankle) and Gordon Hayward (hamstring) who were listed as questionable after shootaround on Tuesday and were eventually ruled out. All that being said, I think the Bucks still have enough to cover the number here against a reeling Hornets' squad.

Over/Under: 238.5

1 Star play on the over: There's just honestly no good play in this game with all of the uncertainties with the lineups. It's a complete stay away game. But since we have to make a pick, I'll lean to the over here. If Giannis plays, the Hornets are going to have all sorts of issues guarding him and Damian Lillard along with the other complementary pieces Milwaukee has. Four of the last six Bucks games have gone over the number.

My picks this season

ATS: 3-4 (42%)

O/U: 5-2 (71%)

Overall: 8-6 (57%)
