Spread & Over/Under Predictions for Hornets vs. Wizards

Can the Hornets cover the spread?
In this story:

Each game day, we at All Hornets will release an article on our thoughts on the spread and the over/under of Charlotte Hornets games. The star ratings next to the play describe the overall confidence in that particular play.

Star ratings:

1 Star - Not very confident

2 Star - A little confident

3 Star - Fairly confident

4 Star - Very confident

5 Star - Should be a lock to happen

Spread: Hornets -3.5

2 Star play on the Hornets (-3.5): Monday night's win over Boston is one that could ultimately change the season for the Hornets. It's a major confidence booster for a team that had been struggling and now, they welcome in one of the worst teams in the league. Charlotte gets out to a hot start and controls this one from the early going.

Over/Under: 241.5

1 Star play on the over: Charlotte's defense hasn't been great and Washington's has been abysmal through the first month of the season. The Hornets will want to push the tempo in this one and look to get buckets in transition. Could be one of those 100+ field goal attempt nights for the bugs. Slight lean to the over, but I would look more to the side in this game.

My picks this season

ATS: 5-5 (50%)

O/U: 6-4 (60%)

Overall: 11-9 (55%)
