Spread & Over/Under Predictions for Hornets vs. Nets

Can the Hornets cover the spread?
In this story:

Each game day, we at All Hornets will release an article on our thoughts on the spread and the over/under of Charlotte Hornets games. The star ratings next to the play describe the overall confidence in that particular play.

Star ratings:

1 Star - Not very confident

2 Star - A little confident

3 Star - Fairly confident

4 Star - Very confident

5 Star - Should be a lock to happen

Spread: Nets -1.5

3 Star play on the Hornets (+1.5): The Hornets did not play their best ball on Friday night and really, haven't played well at all in their first two games. With a couple of days off, I think we'll see a more energized bunch tonight. Charlotte has a real advantage in the paint with Mark Williams and Nick Richards and I expect that to be the difference in this one. Give me the Hornets.

Over/Under: 227.5

1 Star play on the over: It's time for the Hornets offense to come to life. They've turned the ball over at an alarming rate through two games and were not efficient in the paint the other night against Detroit. I've got a feeling Vegas has this total right about where it should be, so although I lean to the over, I don't have much confidence in it.

My picks this season

ATS: 1-1 (50%)

O/U: 2-0 (100%)

Overall: 3-1 (75%)
