Spread & Over/Under Predictions for Hornets vs. Raptors

Can the Hornets cover the spread?
In this story:

Each game day, we at All Hornets will release an article on our thoughts on the spread and the over/under of Charlotte Hornets games. The star ratings next to the play describe the overall confidence in that particular play.

Star ratings:

1 Star - Not very confident

2 Star - A little confident

3 Star - Fairly confident

4 Star - Very confident

5 Star - Should be a lock to happen

Spread: Raptors -4.5

2 Star play on the Raptors (-4.5): The Hornets feel like a team that lacks confidence. Once things get a little rough, heads drop and they look defeated. Without LaMelo Ball, they don't have anyone to bail them out of a cold stretch. Toronto brings in a healthy roster and one that's hungry to get back on track. Lay the points.

Over/Under: 223.5

2 Star play on the under: Toronto plays a slower pace the Charlotte I expect them to dictate the tempo in this one. The Hornets are a team that thrives on running the floor and pushing things. This isn't a great halfcourt offense, so I'll go with the under tonight.

My picks this season

ATS: 7-7 (50%)

O/U: 7-7 (50%)

Overall: 14-14 (50%)

Game Preview: Toronto Raptors @ Charlotte Hornets
